Oct. 29, 2017: On Thursday 14th September 2017, Carmel Degree College, Modankap had organized inter-pre university collegiate fest “Euphoria 2017”. Fest was inaugurated by honourable minister for revenue muzurai Mr.Kagodu Thimmappa, Honourable minister for food & public distribution Mr. U.T Khadar, Deputy Commissioner of Mangalore Dr. K.G Jagadeesh, Ceo of Zilla Panchayath Dr. Ravi, Guest of honour Dr.Priya Carlo, Associate Professor of Canara Engeneering College, Benjanapadav, Principal Prof. Sr Supriya A.C , Vice Principal Sr. Clera A.C , Fest Co-ordinator Ms.Pooja Shetty were present on the Dias.

Student President Faseeha Khatheeja accorded the words of welcome to the gathering. Akhil Hasan of II B.Com rendered Vote of Thanks. Ms. Erica Catheline II B.C.A was the Master of Ceremony.

The valedictory ceremony of “Euphoria 2017” commenced at sharp 3.30pm, Mrs Jecintha D’Cunha, Vice president of P.T.A was the chief guest and Mr. Abbas the joint secretary of P.T.A was the guest of honour. Total 10 colleges participated in the fest Carmel pre-university College Modankap won the champion trophy and the runner up trophy was bagged by LCR Indian pre-university College , Kakyapadav.
