Feb.12, 2018: ‘Carmel Blossoms’ Meet’ was held on Monday 12th February 2018 at Carmel School Mangaluru. 354 Carmel Blossoms from 21 schools and the animators of the Sub-units of D.K and Udupi Districts participated in the day’s programme. Sister Carmel Rita, the Provincial Superior, Sister M. Lydia, the General Coordinator for Carmel Blossoms, Sister Ida Barboza, the Province Coordinator and two representatives from Carmel Blossoms lit the lamp and inaugurated the Meet.
Sister Carmel Rita welcomed the gathering. Sister M. Lydia gave the Inaugural Address on the theme ‘Carmel Blossom at her best’ and declared the Meet open. Sister Pushpa Pinto compeered the Inaugural Programme.
The whole day’s programme included an input session by Sister Rose Agnes on the varieties of flowers and the qualities which they can cultivate - through PP presentation. There were other items like display of activities and sharing of experiences by the Carmel Blossoms of Sub-units. The day ended with a Spiritual Banquet – the Eucharist.
