Mangaluru Mayor K Bhaskar visits St Agnes College

The Department of Political Science organised ‘Mayor Visit,’ an annual programme on Wednesday, July 25,2018 in the College.

Mangaluru Mayor K Bhaskar, spoke on the importance of women’s education and also the contributions of St Agnes College to the society and in empowering women. He advised students to make use of opportunities they get in life, and have a brighter future.

After the talk, Mayor K Bhaskar was felicitated by the College Principal Sr Dr Jeswina A.C.

Every year the department of Political science organize an interaction programme with a newly elected Mayor and students get to know about the progressive activities of Mangalore City Corporation.
