September 18th was a joyous day for the sisters of Karnataka Province for those belonging to 60 to 75 years. Fifty sisters enthusiastically gathered together in St Ann Community Hall. With a short Prayer Service and the words of welcome from Sister Shamita, the Provincial Superior, the first session began by Dr Sr Severine Menezes SAP. She took up the session on ‘Health and Happiness through Therapy’. ‘Grounding Therapy’ made us dance on one leg. ‘Emotive Freedom Technique Steps’ tapping 20 times with positive strokes made us feel good, ‘Brain Tapping Therapy’ made our head feel lighter and finally ‘Face Tapping Therapy’ made the group smile sweetly. Refreshments were served for the group at the end of the first session. Dr Hilda D’Souza, Gynecologist took up the next session on ‘Health Tips’ to grow old gracefully. At the end of the session, all the sisters tapped their feet and happily danced to the song ‘Jerusalema’.
