Dec. 18, 2017: Carmel College Modankap organized one days Shramadan “Kindi Anekattu” at Badaga Bellore, Bantwal. Through this the flow of water is prevented and the water is used for areca nut and coconut plantation by the farmers. It was a Seva Project under ‘Divyas Best Student' of Integral Yoga Sathsangha Mangalore.
Ms. Carol Vas III B.Com student of Carmel College was the organizer of this Seva Project. It was inaugurated by the Honourable Minster Shri Ramanath Rai. Mrs. Jayanthi J. Battaje President Grama Panchayt, Badaga Bellore; Shri. Yogish Surla Vice President Grama Panchayat, Badaga Bellore; Shri. Harish Panchayat Development officer, Badaga Bellore; Shri. Vasanth Anchan, Mr. Peter Vas, Mr. Rajashekar, Prof. Sr. M. Supriya A.C. Principal, Mr. Joel Mascarenhas Staff co-ordinator were present. Around 25 students along with the local people successfully completed the work.
