Carmel School celebrated the feast of our Lady of Mount Carmel on 13th July, 2019 with great joy and enthusiasm by the staff and students.

In the lovely Convent Chapel of St. Ann’s and with the beautiful singing from our school’s liturgical choir setting the ambiance, the Carmel Family gathered for the Eucharistic Celebration offered by Rev Fr Rayan Pinto O.C..D. Father Rayan in his Homily enriched the congregation with a wonderful reflection on ‘Carmel is a Garden of God’ and also emphasized three virtues of our Heavenly Mother that we ought to imbibe namely Prayer, Obedience and Self Sacrifice.

A spectacular cultural programme was arranged by the teachers and students of Grade VIII A and IX A. The celebration commenced with a solemn Prayer Service that accentuated the Importance of Grace towards Growth in Divine Intimacy. “Whoever wears the Scapular will be protected from all danger and harm” -This promise of Our Lady of Mount Carmel to St Simon Stock was beautifully exemplified in the skit entitled “The Brown Scapular”. Tableau on “In Search of God “portrayed the ten virtues of Divine Mother. Sister Sarika our Principal delivered an inspiring message to the teachers and students. She advised the students to be a more loving and a caring person in the society and thus make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.

Sister Sarika the Principal, Sister Rose Agnes, Administrator, Sister Gracy vice Principal and Sister Merlyn Coordinator organized Staff get together that was full of games and fun activities. Sister Maria Kripa Joint Secretary of our school graced the occasion.

Kanisha, Khatija Nada, Sharanya, Aysha Banu, Luwina Noronha compered the programme, Nada Meher proposed the vote of thanks and Tajooba welcomed the gathering.
