Oct. 29, 2017: The Red Cross & N.S.S unit of Carmel College Modankap, in association with Lions & Lioness Club, Bantwal & K.M.C hospital Mangalore had organized blood donation camp in the College premises on 16th March 2017.The chief guest of the programme Dr. Deepa Adiga inaugurated the camp & highlighted the importance of blood donation.

Lions club President Lakshman Kulal assured to support similar events in the days to come. The College Principal Prof. Sr. M.Supriya AC in her presidential remark congratulated the red cross & N.S.S team for the laudable efforts in organizing an event of social benefit. On this occasion Lions club secretary Umesh Acharya, Lioness club president Mrs. Devika Damodar were present on the dias. Ms Jayashree II B.Com was the master of ceremony of the programme. Mr Akhil Hasan I B.Com welcomed the gathering, Ms Nancy of II B.Com proposed vote of thanks. About 69 students, staff & public have donated the blood.
