1. A Christmas with a difference!!!! In honour of Mother Veronica 150 Children/adults from the neighbourhood and the “Lord’s Home” were invited for the celebration as guests. A short programme put up by the Ocean Pearls of IX A manifested the true meaning Christmas and the celebration became real to us. They were given bath towels, toiletries and eatables.
2. As part of Christmas celebration FIVE Outreach programmes were organized for the students of Stds.I to X category wise who visited – Jyothi Nivas at Halekesare, St.Antony’s Home at Lashkar Mohalla, A home for the aged at Rajeivnagar, Hellen Keller School Bamboo Bajar , St. Mary’s Boys boarding home , Pragathi Charitable Trust and distributed to them the toiletries collected by them.
3. The Auto drivers of our school, the corporation workers and the building workers around 150 of them were given bath towels, toiletries and eatables.
4. Christmas was celebrated along with 150 children/adults of Carmel Nivas Lingsugur one of the mission station of our Province.
5. The Carmel Blossoms collected rice, cereals and toiletries on the occasion of the Feast of Carmel and Christmas and distributed the same to a HOME FOR AGED at Gandhinagar along with the money collected by sacrificing their pocket money.
6. The Members of the PTA and Child Protection Committee visited the students of an Orphanage and shared with them the eatables and the toiletries.
Through all these events the students have been inspired to help the poor and have learnt the value of sacrifice.
