Sep 14, 2018 : St. Agnes TTI for special Education sports team of 10 members has emerged as runners at the Zonal Level Sports Meet 2018, organized by NIEPMD, Chennai, for the D.Ed. Special Education trainees studying in the southern states of the country. The nine colleges participated were from different states such as Kerala, Karnataka, Andra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.

The events won by the participants are:

Group Events

1. Throw ball - Winner
2. Tennikoit – Runner

Track and field events

1. 100 Mts : Reena (gold)
2. 200 Mts : Ashwini (gold) Jonita (Bronze)
3. 400 Mts : Ashwini (Bronze)
4. Shot Put: Varsha (Gold) Shayana ( silver)
5. Long Jump: Supriya (Gold)
6. 4x100 Mts Relay : Gold :- Ashwini, Reena, Jonita, Sr. Lucy Mary

These players have been selected for the National level sports meet which will be held in Dehradun, Uttarkhand. The team was escorted by Sr. Veera DSouza, the course coordinator, St.Agnes TTI for Special Education.
