Inaugurated Eco-Farm at St Agnes PU College

June 28: The Eco club ‘SRISHTI’ of St Agnes PU College, inaugurated Eco – Farm on 27th June 2019, Thursday in the college. Sr Norine DSouza, Principal and Sr Janet Sequeira, Vice Principal along with the Eco club members inaugurated the Eco – Farm by planting Farmcils.

Farmcils are recycled paper pencils with seeds in it. They are the pencils that will grow plants once planted in the soil. Once the pencil is too short to use one can put the pencil in the soil. Mrs Suvasini, Lecturer, Department of Biology addressed the students and informed about the use of Eco friendly pencils and brought awareness about promoting the greener environment.
